Governance

Bethany Stanley

Bethany Stanley began her teaching career in Hull in 1998.  She then moved to North Yorkshire and taught at a large primary school in the north of the county.  She became English lead (in addition to being music and MFL lead) and then went onto becoming Deputy headteacher in 2011. Whilst being a deputy headteacher, she successfully gained NPQH.  In April 2018, the opportunity arose for her to become the acting headteacher of Aiskew, Leeming Bar CE Primary School.  In January 2019, she was delighted to become the substantive headteacher at the school.  As well as being headteacher (and designated safeguarding lead), Bethany has been SENDCO, English, MFL, music, RE, art and PSHE lead at this school.  She has a particular interest in curriculum development and her vision has been to create a successful curriculum model for mixed aged teaching.

In her spare time she enjoys walking, travelling around Europe (particularly France) and learning languages on DuoLingo!
