Sue Richardson

I was invited by the Local Authority to become Chair of Governors at Aiskew, Leeming Bar Primary School in March 2019 and have been a member of the Development Group planning for the federation of the school with Synergy.

I am very optimistic about this move, believing that the school can retain its strong ethos as a family school whilst benefiting from the support and stimulation of other schools in the Federation.

My background is in Education having been a Secondary School teacher and senior leader for over thirty years and my last post was CEO of a multi-academy trust which comprised five Primary schools, one mainstream Secondary and an all-age Special school.

Now retired, I’m fortunate enough to have the time to spend travelling, reading, walking in our lovely countryside and various keep fit classes.
